Changing the "One Million and One" items on our to do list to a life thats One in a Million.

Welcome!

As a parent and an educator, I have always felt like there is always One Million and One things to do every day? (Hence the name) It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed in this crazy wonderful life. Most parents today are juggling their parenting responsibilities with their work responsibilities. Much of this website is dedicated to that fact and hopefully provides many different ways to simplify the process.

As an Educator I believe that teaching our children is incredibly important and I believe the learning process starts at home. A combined team of family and school can truly set a child up for success.  Starting at a young age children can grow a love of learning.  Learning developmentally appropriate life skills, social skills, problem solving skills and academics can be amazing. It can be tough at times, but so worth it. Every child is different therefor their learning can vary as well.

One Million and One provides emphasis on the process of teaching a young child to love reading. I truly believe a love of books will set a child up for success in so many ways. Encouraging a love of reading is a primary theme throughout this website. You will find articles and products influenced by the early education process.

There is always so much to learn. Thank you for visiting!!
