Changing the "One Million and One" items on our to do list to a life thats One in a Million.

Welcome!

As both a parent and educator, I know firsthand how overwhelming life can be when there are always “One Million and One” things to juggle each day (which is how this blog got its name). It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed in this crazy wonderful life, balancing parenting and work responsibilities. This space is dedicated to offering practical ideas to simplify that process, making it easier to navigate the wonderful chaos of life.

As an educator, I’m passionate about education and truly believe that the journey of learning process starts at home. A strong partnership between family and school is essential for setting children up for success. From a young age, children can develop a love for learning.  Learning developmentally appropriate life skills, social skills, problem solving skills and academics. While it’s not always easy, the rewards are priceless. Every child is unique, so their learning journey will be too.

One Million and One provides emphasis on teaching young children to develop a love for reading. I truly believe a love of books will set a child up for lifelong success in so many ways. Encouraging a love of reading is a primary theme throughout this website. You will find articles, resources and products that support the early education process and the importance of reading.

In addition to the articles, I’ve also created a variety of teaching materials and curriculum based resources to help parents and educators on their journey. Whether you’re looking for printable activities for early literacy, curriculum-based ideas, or simple ways to enhance your child’s educational experiences, you’ll find many resources available. I also offer low-content books designed to spark creativity and build foundational skills, all of which can be accessed conveniently online.

There is always so much to learn. Thank you for visiting!!
